## What it is

Vedaron POS is an offline-first, all-in-one Android POS for retail and restaurant. It is not restaurant-only. Shop owners, managers, cashiers, waiters and kitchen staff use one app. Work continues without internet; data syncs later.

### Billing
Search, barcode, short code and camera scanner checkout. Favourites / quick menu. Hold and resume cart. Customer on the bill, discount in ₹ or %. Split pay: Cash + Card + UPI + Due. UPI / payment QR on the bill. Preview, print, share PDF. Order history with Paid / Due / Voided filters. Void bill with manager PIN and role.

### Catalog
Categories, images, barcode, SKU, MRP, price, stock, reorder. Favourites and short codes. Modifiers (dining/bakery). Variants. Low stock and restock. CSV / Excel import and export. AI Menu Upload (photo of a printed menu or price list) and API-powered menu import — review names and prices, then bill. Not restaurant-only.

### Customers, stock, purchases, expenses
Customers with mobile and credit limit; due sales and collect payment; ledger. Stock in/out, adjustment, opening stock, damage/wastage, sale and purchase returns, movement history. Supplier master and multi-item purchase invoices (Cash / UPI / Card / Credit). Track expenses (rent, salary, utilities).

### Dining (when needed)
Floor plan and table status. Open / reserve / hold tables. Send KOT; multiple kitchen printers by category. Transfer / merge / split with PIN. Kitchen display: pending → ready → served. Offline dining + sync. Restaurant reports: occupancy, table usage, KOT, dining time.

### Reports, printers, staff, sync
Sales, item, category, customer, staff, P&L, item profit, stock, purchases, payments, collections, expenses. Date filters. PDF / Excel export. Counter Bluetooth printer and multiple KOT printers; 58mm / 80mm; test print; retry KOT. Staff from Settings; manager PIN; active devices (view / log out remote phones); backup and restore. Offline Hive storage; auto + manual sync of shop, products, bills, stock, tables, customers, expenses, purchases.

Home dashboard: today’s sales, bills, average bill, outstanding credit, payment mix (Cash / UPI / Card / Credit), expenses today, low stock, top sellers, sync status.

Bundled printer: 58mm mini Bluetooth thermal printer (ESC/POS, thermal line — no ink). Paper width 58mm (2"). Max roll diameter 40mm. Type-C charge up to 2 hours. Standby up to 100 hours depending on usage. Battery 2000mAh. Weight up to 200g. In the box: printer, Type-C cable, one paper roll. 1-year hardware warranty.
